Some Things We Teach

Crown & Covenant is just one expression of the body of Christ.  As such we have some distinctives that define who we are as a church family.  Rather than severing us from the rest of the body of Christ, these serve to unite us with that "great cloud of witnesses" who have gone before us.

A Typical Sunday

We devote Sunday, biblically known as the Lord’s Day (Rev 1:10), to the worship and praise of our risen Lord and Savior. All our activities are designed to honor the Lord on His day (Isaiah 58:13) by setting it aside as a day of worship, rest, and fellowship.

Families Worshipping Together

Wherever we find the church gathered for worship in Scripture (e.g. Joshua 8:35, Ezra 10:1), it is the family in its totality: fathers, mothers, and children worshipping together.

But over the past several generations many churches have split families apart as soon as they walk in the door. The adults go one direction, the children go another, and sometimes they do not see each other again until it is time to go home.
